Storm Sewer Under Construction
The Glencoe storm sewer project is under
way
The Glencoe storm sewer project is under way, with
the Elbow Drive crossing now complete. This narrowed Elbow Drive for quite some
time. The construction on the sewer
into the
Elbow River is underway also. The large ditch in Woods Park will contain the
outfall which will be an attractive, environmentally safe structure. Sewer pipe
will be laid up to Marquette and Premier this
fall.
There was some flooding in Elbow
Park this summer during some of the large rain storms we had. This new sewer
pipe should alleviate these problems.
