Annual General Meeting Results
The Elbow Park Residents Assocation AGM was held Oct
21, 2003. It was very well attended by community residents which is great to
see. The nominated slate of officers was returned except for one candidate who
stepped aside for a new director nominated from the
floor.
The Alderman King and Erskine
were present for the meeting and spoke about local and city wide issues.
The Elbow Park Community Charter was
discussed in detail after a presentation to the attendees. The charter tries to
define some of the characteristics of Elbow Park and how the Community
Development Committee would work with developments to fit within broad
guidelines contained in the charter. For more information please contact Barbara

It was also noted
that the construction along Elbow Drive is causing traffic to short cut inside
the community. The construction should be complete over the next 2 weeks. Sifton
should open before this weekend which will alleviate traffic.
