As the old saying goes “It takes a Village” and in this case it takes passionate volunteers to make our community the incredible place to live that it is. We know that everyone has busy lives and appreciate when anyone can contribute to our community. We want to thank Neil van der Wissel, Sarah Geddes and Joanne Aime who have done a great job for us in their respective roles of Treasurer, Communications Director and Casino Director, and are now looking to pass those roles on to other passionate volunteers. In addition, there are a number of other opportunities listed below (and under Contribute in the Volunteer section) that we encourage community members to consider to support our amazing neighbourhood. The EPRA Board Member volunteer openings are as follows:
COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR The key activities of this role are to manage the EPRA website to ensure information is current, accurate and provides key on-line information for the members of the community association. Experience with SquareSpace web development and computer literacy would be beneficial. If you are interested, please email volunteer@elbowpark.com.
CASINO DIRECTOR This role coordinates actives associated with the community’s Casino event which are are key fundraiser for our community. This includes coordinating with Casino staff and organizing volunteers required to support the Casino events. If you are interested, please email volunteer@elbowpark.com.
CLUBHOUSE DIRECTOR The key actives of this role involve managing the Community Clubhouse including rentals and coordination for any special events requiring the Clubhouse. If you are interested, please email volunteer@elbowpark.com.
SPONSORSHIP DIRECTOR The key activities for this role are to solicit sponsors for key events and to ensure that sponsors are appropriately recognized and thanked. If you are interested, please email volunteer@elbowpark.com.
SPORTS DIRECTOR This role serves as the lead for the communities sports facilities and relationships. This involves liaising with people and organizations that use the community’s sports facilities and ensuring year-round access to the community’s high quality sports facilities. VICE PRESIDENT The primary function of this role is to support the leadership of the Board, step in to chair meetings or represent the community when the President is unavailable, and oversee special projects or strategic initiatives that do not fall under a specific Director’s portfolio. The VP often serves as a "successor-in-training," ensuring leadership continuity for the Association.If you are interested, please email volunteer@elbowpark.com.

Board meets on the First Tuesday of every month. Note that there are no meetings in July or August. All members of Elbow Park are welcome to attend any EPRA Board meeting. RSVP to president@elbowpark.com.
