Volunteer Roles

• DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS The EPRA Development Review Committee is looking for volunteers to join the committee to assist with the role of reviewing proposed development and specific development applications submitted to the City to ensure the integrity and historic character of our community is preserved. Architecture or Development background would be beneficial but is not required. If you are interested, please email development@elbowpark.com.

• ADOPT-A-TRAFFIC CIRCLE The key activity for this role is to gather neighbours to help weed, prune, and nurture the garden inside traffic circles during the Summer months - this is a fun way to beautify the neighbourhood! Some neighbours even pull their hoses over to the circle on dry days without being an official volunteer. Please email volunteer@elbowpark.com.

• BLOCK CAPTAIN Volunteer This role serve as a friendly point of contact on a street by helping neighbours stay informed and connected. Responsibilities include: welcoming new residents and gathering basic contact information for membership and communications, sharing timely updates related to safety or community concerns, organizing or supporting block gatherings and social events, checking in on neighbours who may need a helping hand and assisting EPRA with community engagement and membership efforts. Your involvement helps ensure every resident feels supported, informed, and part of the community. Help us continue building a caring, connected Elbow Park - one block at a time.
